Will bleach f*** up my hair???

ok so i dye my hair a lot and i just re-dyed it like a week ago but i'm not likin it very much. i was planning on using color oops then going over it with blonde hair dye (my hair is currently a dark reddish brown) but from answers on my other question bleach seems to be my best option...will it fry my hair if i bleach it then re-dye over it?
