Does not doing well your first semester of college work as a detriment?

If this is your very first semester of college I'll sure (with some hard work) you'll be able to pull up those grades. College is a huge transition. During office hours ask your professors how you can improve. This shows that you're serious about the cl and may win some brownie points :) Definately get a tutor who'll help you find the important info to study. See if your college offers workshops on study skills. Form a study group. Don't get discouraged!!!!
