Can soldiers become clergy men?

Actually it's very common. One of the priests at the Church I use to attend as a kid was formerly a member of Green Beret. If certain standards are met, a convicted felon can be a priest. Your best bet is to contact your local archdiocese and find out how the process works. Generally, you would have to attend seminary school, after getting a letter of recommendation from a priest in good standing with the church.
