A DWI conviction especially for someone who is less than the drinking age will definitely have a negative impact upon your getting accepted into a good college. Thank God that you were pulled over by the police before you injured or even killed an innocent. You cannot change what happened so take your well deserved lumps and go on with your life. You do have to answer the question truthfully. The college will do a background check on you if you are admitted as a student and once they see that you have lied on your entrance application you will expelled. Try talking to someone in the college admissions office and see if they have any suggestions for you.
