JUst cause some one is in a Coma, why doesn't he get more Hospital visiters ?

I would just explain it to him in the most gentle and caring way possible. Explain to him that, while few people visited him, you are still his friend and he can depend on you. Then, just be the best friend you can be and be there for him.
